I was part of a Student Consulting Team that worked on a project with AVTECH, a leading manufacturer of proactive environment monitoring products for critical facilities and assets.


Our team created a detailed presentation, attached below, on how we planned to optimize their inventory levels at each location and the cost savings that would bring based on each hypothetical increase in sales.




In addition, we created a dashboard that improved the firm’s processes by using its past sales data, which organized and clarified the firm’s inventory, predicted future sales, identified purchasing inefficiencies, and optimized inventory holding costs.


The bottom line impact we made on the firm was a clearer insight into their inventory with the new dashboard and the ability to focus on one specific product over others. In addition, the financial benefits of our efforts were reduced cost savings from identifying purchasing inefficiencies and leaning out inventory.
